  • Name: Provided when you create or join a board, used to display your identity on the game board.
  • Email address: Provided when you create or join a board, used to identify you within a game and to identify game hosts.
  • Game data: Board configurations, team selections, square claims, scores, and milestone results you submit through the Service.
  • Feedback: Any messages you voluntarily submit through the feedback form.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect payment or financial information of any kind.
  • We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
  • We do not collect location data, device fingerprints, or browsing history.
  • We do not require account creation or passwords.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

  • To operate and provide the Service (displaying names on boards, identifying hosts, matching players to squares)
  • To enable real-time updates and game functionality
  • To process and respond to feedback submissions

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the Service.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a third-party database-as-a-service provider. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except:

  • Service providers: We use third-party infrastructure providers (Supabase for database, Vercel for hosting) that may process your data solely to provide the Service. These providers have their own privacy policies.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Other players: Your name is visible to other participants on the same game board. Your email is not displayed to other players.

6. Data Retention

Game data (boards, players, squares, milestones) is retained for as long as the Service is operational. We do not currently offer an automated way to delete game data. If you would like your data removed, please contact us via the Feedback form and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Local Storage

The Service uses your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage for functional purposes only, such as remembering your theme preference and maintaining your session within a game. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
